Twins End Wicks Streak Saturday, June 24th , 2084 Harold Wicks's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 21 games, as the Baltimore Kings dropped their contest with the Cincinnati Twins, 6-4, at Cincinnati Grounds. Wicks failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-5. After the game Wicks spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. To date Wicks has chalked up a .340 average with 11 home runs, driven in 37 runs and scored 56 times. |
