Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Wicks Wednesday, June 21st , 2084 Harold Wicks has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Baltimore first baseman picked up 1 more today against the Portland Dragons and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Kings won the game, 6-0. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Harold Wicks flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Lenny Stack in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and flied out in the 7th. In the 2084 season Wicks is hitting .342 with 11 home runs. |
