Great Day for Capucho, Hits for Cycle
Friday, June 2nd , 2084
Some days everything just falls in place.
It all came together for Salomão Capucho and the Cincinnati Twins at Cincinnati Grounds. The Twins went home winners and the first baseman had a 4-for-4 day that included the cycle, a baseball rarity.
"He sure was a wrecking ball today," said Cincinnati manager Ryan Stoops following his club's 4-3 taming of the Washington Senators.
Salomão Capucho doubled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Josh Breaux in the 8th.
A look at his current stats shows Capucho with a .298 average, 8 home runs, 33 RBIs and 35 runs scored. He has played in 54 games.
