Las Vegas Rookie Reels in Reward in May Thursday, June 1st , 2084 Last month Omezo Suyama tantalized and tamed Western Conference teams and ran up 4 victories. In addition the Las Vegas starter also was awarded the league's Rookie of the Month trophy. He was honored for his outstanding performance during the month of May. Suyama coasted through the WC with 4 wins and no losses and a 0.55 ERA as he struck out 47 in 32.2 innings and held opposing hitters to a .186 batting average. To date this year, in 11 starts, Suyama has crafted a 5-1 mark with a 2.13 ERA. |
