WC Honors Seattle Third Baseman Monday, April 15th , 2086 Not every ball that came off Manichiro Kawasaki's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Seattle Arrows. For his exploits, Kawasaki was named this week's Western Conference Player of the Week award. The Seattle third baseman put up 8 hits in 19 at-bats and 4 home runs while hitting .421 with 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. In 13 games Kawasaki is hitting .400 this season with 20 hits, 6 home runs, 15 RBIs, 5 walks, .446 OBP and has scored 10 runs. |
