Big Day for Amasifuen: Swats 5 Hits Friday, April 12th , 2086 It seemed Toronto Juggernauts shortstop Jorge Amasifuen could do no wrong, but it still didn't come out right. The Juggernauts fell against the Havana Metropolitanos by the score of 6-5. Amasifuen did all he could, rapping out 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but in the end, Havana prevailed at Molson Park. "I felt real good, but my best just wasn't enough," Amasifuen said in the postgame interview. "We didn't play well enough to win. I saw the ball well and put the ball in play well, and they fell in for base hits. Some days they do that." Jorge Amasifuen flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Alex Zapien in the 5th, singled in the 7th, doubled in the 10th and doubled in the 11th. In 14 games this season, Amasifuen has batted at a .277 pace with 13 hits and 1 home run. View Boxscore View Game Log Watch Highlights |
