Great Day for Inouye -- 5 Hits Saturday, April 6th , 2086 It was a high-five day for Mitsumasa Inouye, at least for a while. The Brooklyn center fielder got plenty of them from his teammates when he reached the five-hit milestone during today's game against the Santiago Avispas, but they were in short supply at the end, as Santiago won the game, 7-5. Inouye finished with an impressive 5-for-5 line, but the Browns couldn't hold off the Avispas. "Mitsumasa was hitting everything," said Browns manager Jason Cormier. "It's too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion." Mitsumasa Inouye singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This season, Inouye has hit 1 home run and posted a .458 batting average. View Boxscore View Game Log Watch Highlights |
