Nick Campbell Sidelined for Season Friday, March 22nd , 2086 The doctors have spoken and Nick Campbell of the Vancouver Wolves didn't like what he heard. The 27-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Campbell sustained his season-ending injury during the Phoenix Thunderbirds game yesterday at Spring Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Vancouver medical staff reported Campbell had a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 9-10 months. |
