Lipka's Season Could be Over
Wednesday, March 13th , 2086
The doctors have spoken and Andretti Lipka of the Cincinnati Twins didn't like what he heard. The 30-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Lipka sustained his season-ending injury during the New York Titans game yesterday at Spring Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Cincinnati medical staff reported Lipka had a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 11 months.
