Hickey Extends Hit Streak to 30 Games Friday, July 27th , 2085 Buffalo first baseman Cole Hickey keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 30 games after collecting 3 hits at Portland Park. The Rangers earned the 8-6 victory over the Portland Dragons. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Hickey said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Cole Hickey grounded out in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, flied out in the 10th and flied out in the 12th. For the year, Hickey is batting .327 with 26 home runs, 80 RBIs and 72 runs scored. |
