Carbajal Headed for Retirement Tuesday, July 10th , 2085 Jesus Carbajal said he's incredibly grateful for getting a chance to play with the Vancouver Wolves organization, but this season will be his last. "I'm extremely loyal to the team, but that's why I have to walk away. I think there's probably someone younger and better who can come in and take my spot," the 39-year-old said. "I'm grateful for all the opportunities I've gotten in pro ball." Carbajal has accumulated a 136-149 lifetime record. He has 2135 strikeouts in 2610 innings and has made 730 appearances, recording 16 career saves and putting up a 3.76 ERA. |
