Colon, Gomez Swap Clubs Sunday, June 24th , 2085 Kansas City and Los Angeles announced today in a joint press conference that 34-year old LHP John Colon will be going to the Stars in exchange for 19-year old LHP Arturo Gomez. "It'll be exciting to join a new organization," one player said. "Some of us could use a fresh start." The players have each passed physicals and are expected to report by day's end. So far this year, Colon has been credited with 2 saves, registered a 6.32 ERA and struck out 18 in 15.2 innings. He also has a 2-1 record. |
