Ruzicka Stretches Hit String to 20 Thursday, April 19th , 2085 Jeremy Ruzicka ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games at Polo Grounds II, when he collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the New York Titans dropped the game, 10-3, to the St. Louis Gaedels. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Ruzicka said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Jeremy Ruzicka flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and singled in the 8th.
