Portland's Okada Sidelined for Season Wednesday, April 18th , 2085 Chotaro Okada will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Portland shortstop could miss the remainder of the year. Okada was injured while running the bases in the Dragons-Destroyers clash at Portland Park recently. Doctors said he has a ruptured medial collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 9-10 months. So far this year, Okada is batting .269 with 5 home runs and 11 RBIs. |
