 | Tuesday, September 1st, 2009: WC Selects Rookie Star of the Month A boyish Toby Wilson emerged as the latest Western Conference Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Los Angeles deserved the honor, batting .376 with 2 home runs and 20 runs batted in. Is the month of August a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Wilson enjoy the limelight. A look at his 2009 stats shows Wilson with a .275 average, 4 home runs, 45 RBIs and 36 runs scored.
