Rangers Bell Out Rest Of Season
Tuesday, July 20th, 2066
The doctors have spoken and Jungo Bell of the Buffalo Rangers didn't like what he heard. The 31-year-old left fielder is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Bell sustained his season-ending injury during the Las Vegas Aces game yesterday at Bison Stadium. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while running the bases. Today the Buffalo medical staff reported Bell had a torn posterior cruciate ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 9 months.

For the season Bell is currently batting .271 with 14 home runs and 46 RBIs. In 84 games he has reached base at a .305 rate and scored 41 runs to date.
