The San Francisco left fielder finished with 2 hits to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 32. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Bahre told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games."
