Dragons Win 7-6 Walk-Off
|
The Portland Dragons defeated the Alaska Kodiaks, 7-6, in 10 innings. Chotaro Okada led the way, going 1-for-4 for Portland. With the victory, the Dragons record stands at 32-35.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Portland catcher Zi-cheng Lum, facing Javy Granillo, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Dragons the 7-6 win.
"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Greg Carpenter, the Portland skipper.
