Johnston Leads Cyclones to Win
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Toronto Juggernauts and Miami Cyclones get after it.
The Miami Cyclones defeated the Toronto Juggernauts, 6-4, at Kroger Stadium. Miami first baseman Nick Johnston had a superb performance. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Miami bumps their record to 28-38 with the win.
Miami took a 6-4 lead on Johnston's 9th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which he hit off Fisko Loera in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Miami to the win.
"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Johnston told the Miami Bulletin.
