The Philadelphia Spectres withstood a fine game by Maine center fielder Leon Rose at Ballpark of Portland, to upend the Lobster, 10-6. Rose was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Jeong Lee was the winner. He's now 8-2. The loser was 31-year old right-handed pitcher Felix Talamantez. With the win, Philadelphia upped its record to 35-30.

Philadelphia relied on the bat of Vincent Horvers to get the win. The shortstop ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the first inning to put the Spectres ahead, 2-0. For the game, Horvers had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Philadelphia skipper Ryan Huff.
