The Buffalo Rangers did just enough to secure a victory over the Havana Metropolitanos, 8-7, in 10 innings at Bison Stadium. Nobody did more than center fielder Bobby Rojas. Buffalo reliever Phillip Dalley was the winner. His record is now 2-1. Yukichi Jimbo took the loss. Buffalo leads the Eastern Conference Jossue Lopez Division by 4½ games.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Rojas hit a slider from Yukichi Jimbo for a run-scoring single. The Rangers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Havana manager Kevin Mayerhofer.
