Washington Picks Up Another L

Yount went 2-4 with a home run, a triple, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Savino Dore got the win, improving to 1-0. He held the Senators to 2 runs on 4 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 5. Now 26-41, Washington has dropped 13 straight.
In the top of the fourth, Baltimore left fielder Koji Chinea had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Chinea stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 2-0, Baltimore. For the game, he went 2-6 with 2 singles.
"From the last whatever, five, six, seven games, there's really only one way to go and that's up," said losing manager Josh Cooan.
