Behind a fine performance from Bryan Boso, the Philadelphia Spectres knocked off the Havana Metropolitanos, 11-7. Boso went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Spectres. The triumph puts Philadelphia at 34-30 for the season.

Philadelphia took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Ron Gideon hit a run-scoring single to make it 8-7, Spectres.

"It was great to come out and swing the bats," Boso told the Philadelphia Bulletin.
