The Buffalo Rangers grabbed a win, 11-5, over the Maine Lobster at Ballpark of Portland. Buffalo third baseman Bejo Ananas went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. Phillip Dalley earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record is now 3-0. The win elevated the Rangers to 37-27.

With Buffalo leading 6-5 in the top of the ninth, Ananas hit a 2-run single off Maine hurler Gerald Blackman. It was the 61st hit of the season for Ananas and put his team ahead, 8-5.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Ananas told the Buffalo Herald.
