Cyclones Eke Out 6-5 Win Versus Havana
Miami beat Havana at Kroger Stadium, escaping with a 6-5 win. The win in large part was due to pinch hitter David Navarro. He went 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Chris Herdegen picked up the save, his 3rd. The first-place Metropolitanos dropped to 41-24.

With Miami trailing 5-2 in the bottom of the seventh, Navarro hit a cutter from Fish Rablood for a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Cyclones ahead, 6-5.

"Even warm beer tastes good after a win," said Navarro.
