Salvatore Castellon was locked in. The left-hander led the New York Titans to a 5-4 win against the Cincinnati Twins at Polo Grounds II. Al Garay picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Danny Bickel suffered the loss. The Titans, now 5-2, have played some good baseball in the early going.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 2nd and one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when center fielder Gurmu Jemadari, who led the EC in hits with 208 in 2081, hit a run-scoring triple. The Titans went on to win.

"This game was intense," Jemadari said, postgame.
