Starting pitcher Roberto Davila pitched well enough to help the Santiago Avispas beat the Boston Greens, 6-5. The winner was Mario Carrisalez in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Alex Mayorga took the loss. The Avispas win now puts them at 37-27.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jonathan Villegas in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring triple off 12-year veteran Alex Mayorga to win the game for Santiago. The home crowd went nuts.

"The crowd was boisterous tonight," said Villegas.
