Starting pitcher Felipe Diaz was a major factor in the 2-1 Seattle Arrows triumph over the Portland Dragons. Seattle is now 27-36, while Portland is 30-33.

Seattle third baseman Jose Yanez contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 51st hit of the season and put the Arrows ahead, 2-0.

"Tough loss," said Portland manager Greg Carpenter. "The kind that burns a little inside."
