The Brooklyn Browns topped the Montreal Harfangs, 5-4, at Brown Town. Brooklyn third baseman Raymilson Bayam was a spark plug for the offense. He went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Olympio Odescalchi, 2-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings. The Browns, at 29-32, sit in third place in the Eastern Conference Zach Gavula Division.
Bayam had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 0-1 curveball from Arthur Gordon, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Browns a 5-3 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Bayam.
"This was a total team effort," said Bayam.
