Maine Lobster starter Jim Lawrence pitched a strong game against the Boston Greens at Ballpark of Portland, leading the Lobster to victory, 4-3. The Lobster now own a record of 35-26.

Had Barry Kearney not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Kearney hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Lobster.

"No disrespect to the other team," said Maine manager Matthew McExpos. "But it's nice to get an easy win."
