Though he had a stellar game, Shane Hirsh could not prevent his team, the Maine Lobster, from losing, 5-4, to the Miami Cyclones. Hirsh was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Miami, at 27-33, sits in last place in the Eastern Conference Walker Division.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Alex Monroy? The 24-year old third baseman Monroy stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put Miami up, 5-4. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 1 double and 2 singles.
