Behind the hitting of Rico Stanton, the Alaska Kodiaks stopped the Washington Senators, 5-4. Stanton went 4 for 5 with 4 singles. He scored 2 runs for the Kodiaks. Washington now owns a losing streak of 7 games.

Alaska used a well-timed hit by Alderaan Pike to capture the win. The third baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the Kodiaks ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
