Arrows 5-1 Victors Over Denver
|
The Seattle Arrows picked up a win at Mountain Dew Park, taking down the Denver Glaciers, 5-1. Starting pitcher Kevin Voda was a big reason why. The 4th-place Arrows now sit at 26-34.
Seattle used the hitting of Mark Chamblin to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Arrows on top, 2-0. For the game, Chamblin had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
Chamblin told a Seattle Daily reporter that he was "very pleased" with the win.
