|
Getting an impressive start from Yeniet Miranda, Brooklyn beat Montreal by the score of 4-2. Getting the save was Jorge Gamez, his 2nd. Montreal drops to 0-6.
Billy Buelna, who finished 5th in the WC in extra base hits with 76 in 2081, helped out the Brooklyn cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the second baseman was 2-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.
