Havana defeated Philadelphia, 5-4, in large part due to slugging first baseman Mario Murillo. Murillo drove in 4 runs. The first baseman had 1 double and 2 home runs for the Metropolitanos. Picking up his 17th save was 25-year old left-handed pitcher Josh Trejo. The win gives Havana a season record of 37-22.

Murillo had a timely hit for Havana in the top of the ninth. With Havana trailing 4-3, he turned a 1-2 fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 14th home run of the season, making it 5-4, Havana.
