Greens Beat Cyclones, 8-4
|
The Greens grabbed a win, 8-4, at Arrington Park, overcoming a fine effort from Miami pitcher Billy Lorsung. Lorsung went 5 innings and allowed 1 run. Boston pitcher Juan Colleano got the win. He's now 3-2. Seung-woo Kim was tagged with the loss. Boston is third in the Eastern Conference Paul Pagac Division with a record of 27-31.
East Brainerd, Tennessee-born Ray Farr came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the seventh, with the bases loaded and the Greens trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single to right to put Boston on top.
"It's nice to see a lot of guys make contributions," said Greens manager Matt Glazer.
