Samaniego slugs 2 home runs to Light Aquas Fuse
Houston took on San Francisco in front of a lively crowd.

The Houston Aquas beat the San Francisco Friars, 10-7, at Tesoro Stadium. The win was due in part to center fielder Raul Samaniego, who went 3-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The win puts Houston at 19-40.

Francisco Guerra had a big 3-run home run for the Aquas in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Houston trailing 5-4 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he sized up a cutter from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Kevin Voda and punished it. The result was his 4th home run of the season, which put the Aquas on top, 7-5.

"It's nice to see a lot of guys make contributions," said Aquas manager Brandon Coroian.
