Floundering Senators Lose 6th Straight
|
Baltimore pitcher Kunimatsu Myaji did his part in helping his team beat the Washington Senators, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The first-place Kings now have a record of 38-21.
The Kings were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth inning, when 25-year old designated hitter Cesar Najar landed a big blow. He turned a first pitch fastball from Dominic Hogg into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent the AT&T Park denizens into a frenzy and sent the Kings home with a thrilling 4-3 win.
"Exhilarating win," said Najar.
