Miami had no answer for former first round draft pick Luis Basurto. The Toronto Juggernauts starter stymied Cyclones hitters, helping the Juggernauts cruise to victory, 6-1. Corey Kueck got the save, the 1st for him this season. The 4th-place Cyclones dropped to 25-33.

Hisatada Konda was 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI for Toronto. The 2083 Rookie of the Year Award winner had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a 2-run single off Jeremy Fitch. It was his 57th hit of the season.

"When I throw strikes I'm good, if I don't I'm not very good," said Basurto. "So I just have to throw strikes."
