Losing Streak Continues for Lobster with 3-2 Loss to Spectres
|
In a tight tilt between the Philadelphia Spectres and the Maine Lobster, Uno Urquidez was the deciding factor. The Philadelphia right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Alberto Zamora collected save number 7. The losses continue to pile up for Maine, which has now fallen 9 times in a row.
With scoring opportunities rare, the Spectres had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the sixth, when left fielder Mike McKasson hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Eikki Hostikka and made the score 3-2, Spectres. McKasson went 1 for 4.
"We certainly don't want to get used to losing," said losing manager Matthew McExpos.
