Kings Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Gaedels
|
AT&T Park featured a tense pitchers' duel.
Baltimore Kings starter John Rochford pitched a good game to help his team take down the St. Louis Gaedels, 2-0. Picking up his 2nd save was 11-year veteran Marc Diamond.
Making an impact for Baltimore was third baseman Miguel Munoz. He drilled a triple off Ben Ford in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Munoz was 2 for 3 with a triple.
Baltimore manager Brad Carpenter called it "a good, solid win."
Baltimore is now 29-29.
