Denver got a decent performance from pitcher Raul Garibaldi, but it wasn't enough to beat the San Diego Destroyers. San Diego won the Mountain Dew Park contest, 6-2. Garibaldi threw 6.1 innings allowing 4 runs for the losing team. The win lifts San Diego to a record of 4-3.

San Diego used the timely hitting of Ramão Bizarro to capture the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Destroyers on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but he made it count.

"Today was a lot of fun," said Bizarro.
