Watkins gets 5 RBI in Baltimore Win
|
Heater Watkins drove in all 5 runs for the Baltimore Kings, helping them beat the Washington Senators, 5-2. Picking up his 2nd save was former first round draft pick Marc Diamond. Baltimore is now 36-21.
With Baltimore leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Watkins hit a curveball from Toby Harrison for a grand slam home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Kings ahead, 5-0.
Said losing manager Josh Cooan: "I think Susan Sarandon said it, 'Hit it where they ain't.' We didn't do a very good job of that tonight."
