Friars Get Clutch 3-2 Win
|
San Francisco Friars starter Kelvin Vaquera pitched his team past the Las Vegas Aces, 3-2. San Francisco's winning streak has reached 6 games.
The decisive blow was delivered by Rod Inzunza in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 32-year old right-handed pitcher Jordan Torres to win the game for San Francisco. The home crowd went nuts.
"Kelvin's stuff looked really, really crisp," said Erich Weatherholt, the Friars manager.
