The Santiago Avispas got an exceptional performance from starter Julius Miller, who silenced the Chicago offense en route to a 5-0 shutout win in Game 3 of the League Championship. The Phantoms could never get a bead on the right-handed Miller, who threw 9.0 innings of shutout ball. The Avispas now hold a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-9 series.

The Phantoms had trouble solving Miller, who surrendered no runs on 5 hits over 9 innings.

Miller said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Foster Field in Chicago.
