Baltimore Win Evens Series at 2
|
The Baltimore Kings took down the Santiago Avispas by the score of 8-1 and moved into a 2-2 tie in the Conference Championship. The largest share of the credit belongs to Baltimore starter Kunimatsu Myaji, who threw 6.0 innings of 2-hit ball.
Myaji was in the zone all game. He frustrated Santiago hitters while giving the Kings 6 innings of quality work. Myaji threw 91 pitches, allowing 2 hits and getting 8 punchouts.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Myaji.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Estadio Guillermón Moncada in Santiago de Cuba.
