Kings Rally Past Harfangs for 2-1 Series Lead
|
When the games really matter, the Baltimore Kings put on their best show, beating the Montreal Harfangs by a final score of 1-0. Tom Dobie threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball. Baltimore now leads Montreal 2-1 in the best-of-7 affair.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game scoreless in the bottom of the ninth, an error by the Harfangs allowed the Kings to score the winning run.
"It was a good effort all around," said Chinea.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at AT&T Park in Baltimore.
