The Houston Aquas electrified the crowd with a walk-off win.

The Vancouver Wolves got a superb performance from pitcher Bill Snelgrove, but the Houston Aquas still won the game, 4-3. Snelgrove threw 5.1 innings allowing 1 run. Jeff LeCheminant picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Ruben Hernandez suffered the loss.

The Aquas were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth inning, when 26-year old second baseman Rich Norlander landed a big blow. He turned a 3-1 fastball from Ruben Hernandez into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent the Tesoro Stadium denizens into a frenzy and sent the Aquas home with a thrilling 4-3 win.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Vancouver manager Zach Meinen.

Houston sits in first place in the Western Conference Felipe Solorzo Division at 38-19.
