Raucous Bison Stadium Crowd Propels Rangers to 4-2 Victory; Series Tied at 1
The Buffalo Rangers took down the Santiago Avispas by the score of 4-2 and moved into a 1-1 tie in the Conference Championship. The largest share of the credit belongs to Buffalo starter Gerald Tanton, who threw 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball.

An inflection point occurred with one out in the bottom of the third. That's when Rangers third baseman Bejo Ananas hit a fastball from Jimmy Biair for a 2-run home run. Just like that, Buffalo was up, 3-2.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Buffalo manager Alex Beckman.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Estadio Guillermón Moncada in Santiago de Cuba.
