The Las Vegas Aces took down the Alaska Kodiaks by the score of 5-2 and moved into a 2-2 tie in the Conference Championship. The largest share of the credit belongs to Las Vegas starter Yolber Ajete, who threw 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball.

In the bottom of the third, Juan Carrizales delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 2nd, the Las Vegas right fielder hit a 3-run home run, putting the Aces in front, 5-2.

"I really like what we did out there today," Ajete said after the game.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Tundradome in Kodiak Station.
