Watkins Blasts Lobster, Kings Take Game 3, 6-4
Riding the 3-hit performance of third baseman Heater Watkins, the Baltimore Kings got a road win against the Maine Lobster, 6-4, in Game 3 of the Divisional Series. Watkins went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Kings, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

The game was at a stalemate until catcher Tom Sarmiento came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Maine pitcher Chris Maxwell, he hit a 2-2 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Baltimore on top, 5-4.

Lobster manager Matthew McExpos did not take questions after the game, telling assembled reporters that he would hold a press conference "if and when we win the League Championship."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Portland in Portland.
